You might be wondering what in the world does faith have to do with achieving your dreams right? Isn’t faith just supposed to do with church and religious life? The short answer is yes and no. Faith is this – it is the force that will help you to achieve your dreams and goals. You’ve probably heard the phrase: “Faith can move mountains”. It sounds cliché, but it is true.
If you can have enough faith then it can and will change your life. It will help you to fulfill your dreams and God-given destiny. The Bible says it this way in Matthew 21:22, “ And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Do you see the word “believing” in this verse? Well, that is exactly what faith is. It is the unwavering belief that something will be or happen a certain way. It is belief in yourself, belief that your dreams and goals can and will come true, belief in God, etc. It means that you will believe no matter what the natural circumstances look like. It might look like you won’t make it, but you just keep right on believing. It might look like your circumstances won’t ever change, yet you keep on believing that they will. Until they do. Until you receive.
When faith is activated it will be the force that not only helps you keep on keeping on, but it is the thing that will make you win through!
Faith will keep you keeping on until you win through because you can see it in your mind’s eye even if not a single other soul can. This is how all great victories come about. Victories in healing, finances, jobs….the list really is endless. It is a Biblical concept and it can be applied to every single area of life.

Bible definition of faith
The Bible gives a definition of what faith is in the book of Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” So in order to materialize things which are not quite here yet, you have to have the faith for it and see it on the inside of you and then turn your faith loose! So how do you turn your faith loose?
Turn your faith loose
Well, you do it with your words. Your faith miracle is in your mouth! What did God do when He created the earth? He said “Light be!” and light there was. Was there light before he spoke? No, there wasn’t. He created the light by faith and he used His words to do it. He turned His faith loose in other words. We can do exactly the same.
What you say matters
Quit talking about the problem – instead, start talking the solution to the problem and what it is that you do want to come to pass. When God wanted light instead of the darkness, He didn’t say: “Oh, it’s so dark. Why can’t it be light? I wish it was light, but it is so dark.” No! He said what he wanted to come to pass and what He was believing for. He wanted light, He spoke light and light was! Glory to God! That is the process of faith.
You first have to believe for the thing you want on the inside of you and then you speak it out your mouth. Now, if you are not comfortable speaking about it in front of other people, then don’t worry. You don’t have to, but you also can’t say words that are in contradiction to what it is that you want to come to pass. Rather keep quiet then, but speak to yourself when you are alone. As long as you keep speaking it out of your mouth.
Mark 11:22-24 are some super important scriptures. Highlight them in your Bible. “And Jesus answering saith unto them, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Do you see how many times the word say/saying are in those important verses? That should tell you something about the importance of saying what you want to come to pass. You can have what you say! But you must believe first.
And if you need help with the believing part then you need to increase your faith. How does faith get increased? The Bible says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God(Romans 10:17). So if you want to increase your faith then you better get in the Word of God – daily. Because that is the only sure way that you will be able to increase your faith enough in order to receive from God.
Keep your faith turned on
One other practical tip I can give you is to make a vision board or “dream book” as I like to call it. It is simply a board or book that you make for yourself with some pictures in it representing the things that you are believing God for. Use old magazines for the pictures or print some of off the internet. And keep this in a place where you can see it regularly. And by regularly I mean every single day. Don’t put it away somewhere where you can’t see it. This method is very effective and will help you to keep your faith up and to keep the dream alive until it manifests.
Living by faith is an exciting life. It takes the limits of off what you can do. The Bible does say that with God all things are possible! So activate your faith and start living in God’s best for your life.
